Chest Tattoo The idea for this design is basically incorporating the two things that I’ve always wanted: a lotus and a crow (or in this case, crows.) I needed some decorations for these main parts, and I’ve decided to add a sunset (because I love sunsets, who doesn’t?!) in the background for the lotus and the crows. I’m not too happy with the clouds though…

Basically, you have to design your own human/animal using only the colors provided from the palette of your choice, taken from color-palettes.tumblr.com, of course. However, you can’t use transparency or make a new color by mixing the colors provided, hence the cartoony, flat-looking doodle.  I didn’t enter this for the prize, but this is actually kinda fun and… doable, so I thought why not? So if you’re interested, you can click on the first link to get more info. The palette used here is called So Close. It wasn’t my favorite, but it definitely caught my eyes (and my mood at the time).

Self-portrait Not my first attempt at a self portrait, but definitely the first in this style and digitally! It was hard but really fun to try out something I’ve never done before. Maybe I should practice painting more. This is the first time I ever got so close to painting a realistic looking piece so it’s undoubtedly a big step for me!
